GIPEC / LCSO operates participative, creative and horizontal type of democracy and government we promote the leadership concept of primus inter pares (first among equals) we are aware of the imminent need of recovering our theological roots and heritage in order to fulfill the mission received from JESUS CHRIST. We understand that pastoral care provided in the light of the word of God allows people to experience shalom and holiness.
We recognize that People seek Chaplains help primarily because of pastoral role which speaks of their “unique” connection with the living water and bread of life that may help them find meaning, comfort and strength to live.

Gipec/LCSO considers that one of the goals of pastoral care and perhaps the most relevant is that of helping them fulfill their calling as People of God. We see pastoral care as a ministry anchored in the grace and love of God. Pastoral care takes place in many different ways including visiting the sick, attending to the dying, comforting the bereaved, shepherding those who are struggling to survive some difficulties of any kind in life, proclaiming visibly and verbally the word of God, while fulfilling the priestly mandate and calling.
